1. Basic intro to POR (equipment, what happens at an event, what is POR).

2. Map reading and speeds - using the legend, forests, roads, landmarks etc, plus marking kilometres and measuring a route, calculating times and speeds.

The afternoon session is for advanced riders (levels 2X/3) It will run from 1.30pm to 4.30pm and will cover the following topics:

- Reading 2X/3 Maps.

- Grid references/bearings on the map.

This is an excellent opportunity to learn from Gwen Bastian, International TREC Judge and International TREC competitor. Please queries to Paula Donohoe,[email protected] Entries close Tuesday 3rd March.
